>>322484No but most people don't understand how it works.
Its not like EVERYTHING IS HOT NOW. Around the equator things will be but it is more complicated on a global scale.
Its a destabilitation of global heat transfer and weather patterns.
The difference in temperatures causes convection currents. As the temperatures narrow these slow down.
The trouble is that it is hard to predict exactly how this is going to play out. Especially since in the short term larger northern melt-off causes sea temperatures to drop. However we are rapidly running out of ice.
The general gist is that things are going to be far less predicable and weather events faaaaar more severe. This is why we get a huge ass storm on the East US coast every year or two.
Areas that relied on predicable rain are going to have drought then maybe a huge downpour like california.
Some areas like India are going to get even more rain.
Areas that were warmed by global currents could face potential cooling.
The general gist is that it is very hard to know for sure what is going to happen but weather is going to become much more of extremes. Besides global ice melt OFC
Arable land will move north and tundra is melting as we shitpost. This is going to be great for countries like Canada and Russia. However terrible for island nations. Much of the Maldives has already been evacuated.
