i'm not clicking that link, nor do i follow youtube shit flinging contests and demonitization complaints or whatever, but i watched a video of idubs called "asian jake paul" and it was probably the most autistic thing i've ever seen/heard. i don't know who jake paul is, but i think the nick crompton meme that one guy posts here has something to do with it. anyway if you want to make a "roast" or "parody" or "diss" you should at least try to be on a level above the guy you're making fun of- and frankly i cannot imagine anything worse than what i experienced the day i watched that video. jake paul must be a really, really unlikeable person if discount filthy frank is somehow on a higher moral standard, and again i don't think that's possible. the terms "cringe" and all of its derivative forms (cringeworthy, cringefest, etc.) are vastly overused to the point of losing their meaning, and even wrapping around and becoming something to cringe at in themselves, but i actually fucking winced and groaned in disbelief about how absolutely awful this video was. it's like on the same level as those 2008 video game music parodies on youtube that you look back on and cannot see any appeal in. whatever humor was there will be lost on anyone outside the loop and anyone viewing the video in the future. that's how you know it's shit, it has no lasting effect on anyone other than its very niche audience, like the kaiju audience lapping up every shitty third-rate godzilla film simply because it's marketed to them. it begs the question though, who is this for? who actually hates jake paul enough to unironically listen to this and think it carries any weight whatsoever? from my understanding the guy is a meme who made some meme song. even if he's a bit of a cunt, most people will look past that and partake in the memes, whether ironically or post ironically. who actually hates jake paul enough to identify with this over taking the piss out of him by making him nothing more than a meme ?
