hello /bant/, today i will tell you of a band called Those Poor Bastards; this wonderful, splendid duo of misfits came about in 2004 with their first debut EP "Country Bullshit", and released their next official album "Songs of Desperation." this is was right before their popularity had peaked, before Hank III expressed his enjoyment of the band and did a damned good hell of a fuckin' cover of their "Country Bullshit" classic, "Pills I Took." the album contains songs about unfaithful poor bastards such as they, focusing on the primitive roots of country itself. i wholeheartedly recommend you give it a fuckin' listen or three, /mu/, i swear you'll enjoy it if you enjoy staring into the abyss of dark country.
