>>3277849It went something like this
Math Progression for Average student:
6th and 7th Grade - "Basic math skills"( or something like it)
8th Grade - "Pre-Gemotery"
9th Grade - Algebra I
10th Grade - Geometry
11th Grade - Algebra II
Math Progression of "advanced" students and the path that i took:
6th Grade - "Pre-Geometry"
7th Grade - Algebra I
8th Grade - Geometry
9th Grade - Algebra II
10th Grade - Pre-calc
11th Grade - Calc AB (comperable to Calc I in college)
12th Grade - Calc BC (comperable to Calc Il in college)
You needed Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II to graduate, but you also needed 3 years of math in Highschool
so its not like you could have taken Algebra II and just stopped, you had to take two other math courses, like stats , trigonometry,"business calc" or some other shit. Franky my school system was probably more rigorous that most.
>>3277784Not surprised, i wouldn't expect the non-accelerated math courses to become less shit after i finished pre-calc 5 years ago
