there is definitely something going on they arent telling us...
I think there may have been another species of humanoids (neanderthal, sapiens, etc...), or maybe even aliens, that was more advanced than us and basically bugged out to space leaving us with the remnants of their civilization... some stayed behind and got wrecked during the younger dryas (along with us)... they helped us get back on our feet and eventually died out while some of their bloodline is passed down through us...
