I don't mean I had the kind of acne that elicits the "oh that dude has acne" kind of response. I had the kind of acne where people had the "oh your poor thing" or "I can't even look at him" kind of acne. I tried every cream, pill and treatment going and nothing worked for longer than 2 months.

This isn't me, but this is more or less what it was like.
