The western half of the continent is farthest from those controlling assholes in both the US and Canada, and the most beautiful part of North America. Low population with a big land area, but the US actually does have the larger land area in the Americas, Canada has the largest total area (water added). Lots of Canadian make their way to the US in their life and are pretty friendly in my experience.
