Can someone explain net neutralilty to me? I understand the basic concept which is that right now ISP cannot have a preference in regards to providing bandwidth to websites. However this concept was only released two years ago. Since net neutralilty was revoked today, then won't the internet be the same as it was two years ago?
I know people are saying that ISP will have favourism towards certain websites now, and that corporations will pay ISP more money so that people can access their websites faster, but that didn't happen two years ago, so where is that fear coming from?
