>>3332971>Still struggling with masturbationHere is some material.
I kicked opioids, cigarettes, and both of those were easy (in fact, I intentionally misused my opioid prescription in hopes of abating my sex drive initially--- the withdrawal symptoms were not that bad!)
Masturbation/recreational sex was by far the hardest addiction to quit and truth be told, the most damning of any because the negative effects last for 24+ hours after every orgasm. Every time I ejaculate, it feels like I lose 15 IQ points for 24 + hours and my motivation and wakefulness die. And no, it isn't placebo because I never read about "negative" side effects from sex and masturbation, in fact, whatever I did read said that masturbation and sex were not only harmless but good for you.
I've not masturbated for months and haven't even been thinking sexually. My mind is sharper than it ever has been and I am a much more productive person.
Keep on keeping on, you can overcome this. Notice that most people defending it are losers themselves. View this as gravely as you would a hardcore drug addiction because in some capacity, it is worse, given how instinctual the sexual drive is, and divorced from the higher faculties- if you let yourself go, you lose autonomy over yourself and subjugate yourself into a state of constant heteronomy.
