Sam Hyde was smoking Backwoods cigars that he supposedly left in his car for over a year. As a result, those cheap gas station cigars were stale and very dry by the time he smoked them. The dryness of the cigar lead Sam Hyde to say they were crispy and crunchy, and making a reference to a Nestle Butterfinger ad, he went on to add that they were also peanutbuttery as a joke. Native English speakers were keen enough to pick up on this rhetoric, but it evidently went over some non-native English speaker's heads.
Needless to say, there are no peanut butter flavored cigars.
