Plus, as you pointed I also don't need all these preinstalled shit, but removing everything what i don't need is a lot harder than installing only what i need.
Also, I don't trust canonical, they can put a spyware or botnet to the binaries or collect your personal information or even worse send it to FBI.
Using Arch as a daily desktop OS is not harder ( even much easier ) than maintain ubuntu, Once installed and configure Arch can work forever, just do a full update monthly and that's it.
