Honestly the contrast between the two cultures can be pretty disturbing. Just thinking about how my university friends treat issues like sex and love is just completely foreign to me. I think peaceful coexistence is out best bet

I believe that there is a God, but other than that I am not sure. I've never seen the afterlife and not enough people come back from it to tell us that it exists anymore. Asking to believe simply on faith alone is unreasonably difficult in the modern age where most things taken as fact have undeniable proof attached to it. Even with my doubts about some aspects of religion, I dare not call myself an atheist. The reasons that I believe God or something like Him exists are that the whole of existence has to have been created somehow and the fact that people of all ages have been worshiping spirits and beings of higher powers, so there must be some validity in a similar kind of being existing.
