My gf is a molecular biologist, my sister is a musician with a full fledged career and a popular following. My psychiatrist? christian. Most of my doctors? christian.
Now let's take a look at the atheists I know, and their professions.

Maybe our southern neighbours have retarded christians but the ones around here take the bible stories as metaphors, and recognize older parts such as leviticus for what they are -- social and health codes -- sex with gays is bad because they're prone to be more diseased, money lending is bad, food should be prepared a certain way.. and that they got alot of things wrong.
As for me, I'm agnostic.
Atheism falls victim to the very same arrogance that it accuses religion of.
