If it wasn't for Hitler there wouldn't be any anime.
If Hitler hadn't encouraged Japan to attack Pear Harbour, they wouldn't have got involved that much in the war and the US wouldn't have devoted manpower and resources and subsequently nukes against Japan and thus Japan wouldn't have gone the cultural development path it did in our timeline, in this way not developing anime.
