I actually agree that there's a lot you can learn from the northern european civilisations and the technology they had wasn't actually bad at all. They had comfortable lives and lots of people would be quite happy living in houses that look like that if they had modern facilities and stuff.
However, I also think that native Black Africans shouldn't be written off so quickly. They were more capable and organised than people give them credit for.
The "retarded nigger" is a particularly important myth for the left as it allows them to portray Blacks are a defenceless and useless race of primitive pacifists who were suddenly ambushed by nasty White savages.
The truth is far more complex. Look at the kingdom of the Zulus for example. These guys weren't actually a push over and they weren't pacifistic. They were an organised military state.
