AHA. I tried keeping journals etc. Got bored midway.
In one of my recent dreams, I unintentionally became lucid. But my subconscious tricked me three times. It tried to blend in with my alarm tones. I can't quite put it in words, but it was a weird experience.

Most of my early lucid dreams were all horrible. I dont know if it had something to do with how i felt or if it was just random, it gets better when you stop fearing them. i could greentext all of the interesting ones if anyone is interested.

Is there a reliable way to get lucid dreams regularly? I tend to not remember mine, and when I do I mix them up with reality, because I'll remember something like a conversation I had with someone clear as day but when I bring it up to that person they'll have no idea what I'm talking about.

a while back I tried pretty hard for a month or something, at some point I had the realization that I was dreaming, tried flying, it worked for a few seconds and then I woke up. Instead of trying again I lost interest, maybe I should get back to it. Does it actually feel good or is it overrated ?
