Why does the majority of the world even use Celsius for reporting ambient?
Think of it:
Fahrenheit:
>0°F is an extremely cold ambient temperature, and 100°F is an extremely high temperature
>barring extreme climates, ambient temperatures aren't outside of these values
Celcius:
>temperatures are often negative values which is awkward and quirky
>0°C is freezing which is kinda neat if this was a science lab (in which case Kelvins would be better because having negative values is awkward in a lab)
>100°C is boiling which isn't useful for ambient temperatures at all since no climate on earth reaches anywhere near that
>common ambient temperatures range from -20°C to 40°C which is awkward
