Looking at my list it's been like a really, really long time since I've played any sort of strategy games. The ones I liked to some degree were the Anno games, Dawn of War, X-Com, Cogmind (more roguelike) and Stardew Valley (more sim game). I heard Supreme Commander and Total Annihilation are also supposed to be decent but I haven't played them yet.
