Finally going to college, put it off for five years after graduation because I didn't know what I wanted to do. I'm very glad I did, a lot of other college students have very fucking bad life plans and most people here either go into nursing because they don't know what to do and are too afraid to try math or business.
Going into criminal justice, the full deal. My goal is to join ICE but I have several backup plans if I change my mind or can't get in. My fall back is park ranger, since I live in Oregon and have a lot of friends in the BLM already it should be easy.
I would have the military as a fallback but I was told due to missing a nut (fell on a fence when I was 12, had to be surgically removed) I'd need a medical waiver to show it wasn't removed due to cancer and that could take anywhere from three to fifteen years unless I bring some really valuable skills to the table, which I don't have at the moment.
I don't give a shit about transferring credits so I'm not only taking the classes I need for my two-year degree before I go into police academy, but also taking classes that interest me like algebra and art.
This summer I'm taking judo and getting my driver's license, my Mom is teaching me how to drive but it's so easy she's basically there just to act as a license holder in the vehicle. I don't know what I was nervous about.
Need to start jogging to get my stamina way up, but the college has a good track and the campus is fun to run and walk around. No niggers and barely any people outside of classes in the morning.
Thought I would fail one my math classes because I'm bad at calculation without a calculator, but ended up passing with a 77% which is good in my book. Learning the guitar too, can already play the first few chords of Stairway to Heaven and almost all of Smoke on the Water.
You can do it OP, the hardest part is starting and the second hardest part is getting over the anxiety of starting. After that it's all cheesecake.
