I actually grew up around evergreens, so no. They smell nice and are green all year round(hence the name). Now maple trees on the other hand, that's a totally different story.

Honestly? Neither. Quebec, as much as they want it. Suck some massive dick. Quebec City just won't have any market potential, which is basically what bettman looks for. And after the failure that was the expo's, mlb isn't looking towards montreal anytime soon. The market is there for baseball, but they had their chance and blew it. If I had to say, I'd go with the expo's, expand baseball into Canada more.

But as a part two. If any team is coming into Canada, it'll probably be the shitty ass MLS with another team. Probably in Edmonton or Calgary. If it had to be a big 4 team. Basketball in Vancouver, Baseball In Vancouver, or Hockey in the maritimes.

It's still very odd they'd push Vegas over Seattle now that you talk like that. It just seems odd to me that the Habs managed to revel in the Nordiques every year but it seems to always be dropped straight away.
I'm quite fond of the MLS to be honest. I caught a couple games and ended up listening to them on 690 quite a bit. It's odd, it gets more news slots than the NHL does, which doesn't even make the sports ticker.

Montreal beat the nordiques cause of history, also they were in another prime for them, winning a few cups.
