anyway, we're definitely colder than italy. currently, i'm living in a highland area but i was born in the danube plain where it's flat as fuck. i think technically my home region, dobruja, is part of the russian steppes and it's where the bulgars, bulgaria's horse tribe founders first arrived over here. i took pic related on one of my hikes, it should give you an idea. i have a few more that are just like it.
and there doesn't seem to be any difference in the climate between the two places.
if you're in los angeles, that means you can get a sushiritto, you should do that asap
