The Dixie battle flag is a sign of secessionism, regionalism, state's rights, individual rights, and southern culture.
The association with racism has only been fabricated and enforced by the government. It's propaganda (the north owned slaves too, after all, and even after the war, and Lincoln never cared about the slaves, being a white supremacist himself.)
I won't debate further though, we really don't have to have this conversation every time it's posted.
