Headaches blow, but Okami's neat and I need to play it one day for sure. Kinda wanna play Muramasa now speaking of Japanese mythology and finish that off, but oh boy I'd be so rusty. It's a hack and slash and it has a mode where you die in one hit, what the fuck it's hard enough with potions.

Are you talking about the PS Vita title Muramasa? I played a bit of that and it was extremely fun but I was never able to buy it. You should grab Okami HD if you have $20 to spare on Steam though, it Holds up extremely well imo.

Yeah the vita one, remake of a wii game for the sake of mentioning it. I'll get Okami either on wii or once I get a PS2 at some point; physical copies are neat and I'm not the biggest fan of playing on pc.

I wouldn't dream of playing Okami with a keyboard + mouse. I don't think you'd be missing any content by playing the original though as the HD release seems to only bring 4k support, some loading screen mini-games...I think that's it. When you do play it I hope you enjoy it though. It's a beautiful experience.

Vita's cool, not played too much on it so far for various reasons, but once I get some more games and a memory card it's definitely a nice system. Index VirtualOn and P5 rhythm game (despite me having never played Persona) are gonna be sick.

I have always considered myself as straight and I am afraid that it's the medication that I am taking to keep my schizo under control that affect my penor and sex life.

I don't want to get off meds, though, because they keep me sane enough to actually live life, even though a major part is missing.

Fun thing is that when I was off antidepressants for a few weeks to change meds, I was as horny as I haven't been since 15.
Pretty sure it's the meds.

Well this is where I bow out. I don't want to go making assumptions about your meds and everything. I can say that when I started a few of my meds for ADHD and a chemical imbalance that makes me moody and curt with people my libido was absurd for a week or two.

That explains a lot. I'd say getting off meds is not an option since it will just make everything worse, so you'll probably have to live with it. You might want to tell your psychiatrist about it though, maybe there's the possibility to reduce the dose still keeping it to a safe level or even change to different meds with less (or at least different) side effects.

I've had it like split in two before, but didn't keep it up because it was more because I was super tired after staying up all night leading me to sleep a few hours around midnight ish and then go to bed at like fiveish and get up a few hours later. Actually me sleeping an hour or two in my chair isn't that uncommon, but I forget about that.
In terms of the amount of sleep I'd prefer that, cause I don't think you need as much if you do it like that, but I'd just fuck it up instantly banging out anime or something, not to mention it'd be a bit inconvenient if I wanted to do things.

Haven't watched the anime and I never intend to but the manga is one of my favourites. However I see a lot of complaints about the "creator not being able to choose the tone of the story." It's dark, and as it goes on it is getting darker. A good example I can give you is in one of the early chapters someone gets beheaded and then the person who beheaded him starts making childish faces. Think, Full Metal Alchemist goofy type of faces. I don't consider this a bad thing as it's not my story and I'm simply along for the ride the creator is taking me on. They got me invested in the characters and I also don't mind the light hearted moments. There are less and less light hearted moments as the story is progressing and it's getting bleaker and bleaker.

I will say that it's been non stop from I think chapter 13 - 43? Whatever it's on now. A huge arc started and it has done nothing but build and build, more and more players keep entering the stage and the fights are getting bigger and more damaging to everyone involved. Makes it hard to put down/find a good place to stop. That's my only complaint so far.

Other than that it sounds interesting, the anime wasn't as dark for sure (and I certainly don't remember any beheadings). Also I like the art style too

The character making the face is clearly unhinged and doesn't fully understand the gravity of his actions. So it's not that it is out of character or out of nowhere. It's the most in your face moment I can think of. Give it a good 8 chapters though, so you get the first arcs out of the way. If you still don't like it I doubt you will from there but it should only take about 40min to get that far. If you ever decide to check it out that is. :)

Really great! Had a lot of fun and got to see a fair number of the major sites. The first part of the trip was also like 10 or 11 C, so a nice change from Akureyri. We even got a couple of blue sky days, in addition to all the rain of course. :)

Belfast and Bushmills were the two places we stayed. But we also did the typical touristy stuff plus some general exploring. We had hired a car, and since it was around the holidays we had a lot of places either entirely, or almost entirely to ourselves! Dunluce Castle was pretty awesome with no one there.

Yep, we stopped through Giant's Causeway after the Carrick-a-read (sp?) rope bridge, which also had nobody.

Giant's Causeway was really awesome. I've never seen anything even remotely like that before. I thought the mythology behind it was really cool as well. Despite the name I never put two and two together to think that a giant had built it. I also liked the bit about his granny watching over him.

The causeway wasn't very busy at all, I'd say less than 40 people in total. There were a few people that the cops/guards had to keep blowing the whistle at because they were being stupid trying to get selfies, but aside from that it was very peaceful. It was also a dry day, so we got to see a good bit of it.

I just want to get home and sleep for three days straight. This kind of travelling where you only stay a few days at each place is nice but I actually prefer to live in a place for a longer time, like fully immersed. It's like I like routine but I also like to change it every few months or years

Sure, I've lived in the United States, Canada, Iceland (native), and Denmark.

I've had "extended stays" in Scotland, Sweden, and Israel - long enough that its hard to call it a visit, but not really long enough that I'd say I "lived" there.

Nah, I'm not an actual UN employee, just a contractor at times. I'm also not super important in general, I just work in a really specific field of law that lets me travel to some cool places. I've been back here for a bit now because I actually felt a little too nomadic for awhile, I like my comfy routines.

I can only speak to western Canada. I lived in British Columbia (not Vancouver though I was there a lot), and only saw that, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. So from Alberta east I have no experience. I had a good experience living there, but I was kinda lonely to be honest - though that obviously was just my circumstances and not reflective of the country.

Yeah, I got to explore quite a bit. Saw the major cities, a few smaller towns, and a lot of the historical sites. Some of the old destroyed towns along the border (Yom Kippur War etc.) were kind of comfy in that abandoned building sort of way (pic related - it's from an old hospital).

Yes, it's nice. I'm thankful for the opportunities. Most of what I've been able to do as far as living/visiting places (outside of leisure travel) has been almost entirely because of the job, otherwise there's no way I'd be able to afford it.

Who knows. It puzzles me that they have the deal on the front of their menu then have all the pizza's listed individually at ~£15 each on the next page.

It was shit pizza anyway, should have got a tasty frozen Ristorante instead.

What's sad is that those are the cheapest ones, Ristorante for example goes up from there.

To be fair I just picked that one up from the closest store, which isn't the cheapest, but even in the discount stores you're still looking at ~£4+ for it.

As for Taxes, probably 24% into various gibs.

Those fuckers & Pizza Hut are the worst.

Pizza Hut sent me a £30 gift card after I got sick eating on of their mega-bucks pizzas & I can't use it for delivery. For a hermit like me that's pretty much useless.
