I have both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, yet, I think Majora's Mask has an interesting edge for me that the other lacks, if it is not the better game. There was an impending sense of doom and dreadfulness throughout M.M., which dramatically characterized the game, even instilling senses of panic upon the Third Day. O.o.T. though, lacking somewhat of the apocalyptic qualities, still had you met with very horrific things. The Shadow Temple, the Bottom of the Well, the Graveyard, and other associated places with ReDeads were frightening locations for very similar reasons. The ReDeads and their mummy counterparts, the Gibdos, had those extremely high-pitched shrieks, and their gaze paralyzed you when in sight. They were probably the most horrifying video game zombies/animated dead beings, for me.
