For regional flags you'll need the "Extra Flags for 4chan" addon as well as 4chan X installed beforehand. I can't post the link because whoever sets up the spamfilters is fucking retarded.
After it installs refresh any thread once or twice and the region popup should appear. Just select US for country and District of Columbia for Region.
Regional flags show up for anyone who has the Extra Flags addon installed, and lots of people do already. You can't get your flags to show up correctly if you pick something in a different country because the base country flag is overridden by your actual IP's location, so if you try to post as if from Jerusalem it will show the regional flags but show US for the country and mess it up. So if you're in the US and have no "alternate IP"s, your best shitposting option is to be a DCposter.
