yeah though it's pretty chill, though things can get a bit on the pricey side thanks to customs duty and VAT (7.5% tax on all goods across most stores)
if something bad ever does happen i would recommend this place, but the secret to enjoying the most of what it has to offer is to have some sort of naval transportation or make friends with someone who does. The place is mostly water, after all. If you prefer urban environments you can just stick to New Providence, Grand Bahama, and Abaco. NP is closest to an actual city. GB is like a suburban town. Abaco is like a countryside. I've lived on all three and they've all got their merits.
