But the way humans represent time is obviously human-made, error-prone and somewhat retarded. For the record, "homo sapiens" exist for over 200k years, but for some reason we are currently in the year of 2017. That's not even 1% of the time our kind exists, let alone previous "iterations" of humans.
Another fun fact: we all live in the past. There's no way for a human to observe the "present" time, due to our brains having a constant delay (I don't remember the number, you can look it up). Hence it would be fair to say that no human has ever experienced "present time".
