Life is precious. If something is precious then it is valuable. For something to be valuable it must be needed and/or beneficial. If something is needed or can be considered beneficial then that implies that there is some sort of situation or task being done that requires it. But there is none. So how can something like life be considered valuable? We value art for the same reason as life. It's beautiful and complex and requires subjective interpretations to have meaning. Without it they are just paintings and sculptures. They just are. And we just are.
