>>3650360There is no edition nor any upvote function on this site, you don't have to make any account too. Posts are organised in a chronological fashion, from the oldest to the newest. I am not sure about those "arrows" you say you click, there aren't any that open the reply box.
To reply to a post, simply click on its post number, that will open the reply box and add the reply tag automatically. Enter is needed to be clicked only once to separate sections of the post, so try not to click it two times, it may be of great annoyance to people here.
Always look for a thread in the catalog (You can find link to it beneath the ad and the internal message i. e. "Janitor applications are now being accepted for the next ~48 hours. Apply here."). There are all the current threads depicted on there, so make sure you see if no one else made a thread you wanted to before you do. Threads are automatically deleted/archived (depending on the board you are on, treat those like subreddits) upon reaching the last place on page 10 with the creation of a new thread. Therefore, to keep some thread alive, you may stumble across people simply posting the word "bump". What they do is they get the thread back on the top of the page 1. There is a limit for those though, depending on the board.
Please read the global rules and faq before asking any more questions and always get to know the board sepciffic rules that are in effect on the board you are currently on. That should be enough for now. Remember, that people and their culture here is very different from reddit's one and from most of the places you have seen, it's better to lurk for some time before really starting to post, so that you will be acustomed to it.
Sorry for any errors in my post, I am in a hurry.
