Air force has a lack of discipline compared to the other branches, but does have good career opportunities and you can walk out with a degree and retirement if you do it right.
Marines have less opportunities and the budget is lower, but if you want as close as you're going to get to Full Metal Jacket Bootcamp and lifestyle, look no further
Army is good for getting a garunteed MOS you want and good for getting officer early on, but that's about it and they treat them like shit.
Navy is good for developing good leadership skills and knowing a crew intimately, but you're not going to have much time to take leave. ship goes out, you go out.
Coast guard isn't under the DOD, so you don't do as many militiary-style missions, but being under a different leadership (name escapes me) means you do more homeland security style activities. as far as day in and day out life i have no idea.
