Lets say you are a guy who diets right, works out, gets proper rest and really takes care of himself. Well you want to be able to show off all your hard work. It is proven that if you are shaved, you can see more muscle, and if you tan, the definition comes out even more (this is why blacks look more masculine).

Personally, I keep my hair but that is because it is not course, it is straight, soft, and not so much that gets in the way of what I want to show off. I would say I am like the middle picture hairy.
