Yeah, I was unaware of this part, long time I didn't delve in the mechanicus lore. However the Dark Age of Technology was filled with many creations, and many of them were lost, it's not impossible this chapter could have find a forgotten creation with the help of the mechanicus on a forgotten forge world.
