Now consider the fact that personality is seated in the prefrontal cortex. Now consider that psychopaths suffer from lowered activity in the prefrontal cortex. And finally consider that they have been described by pre-eminent psychologists before the advent of neuroscience as having no super ego. Psychopaths lack executive function. They are fundamentally bad at getting things done, their lives often fall into disrepair. Right-wing politics is all about getting things done. It takes great ego/personality/executive function/will to lead a right-wing movement.
