>>3687112Well they look awful right now. I mean, France, Germany, and Sweden are the big three to point to for how awful Europe has become. The government shouldn't have a ton of welfare programs because it's just genuinely bad at them; it should focus, almost exclusively, on protecting its people and their rights. The social democracies have so far failed terriblt in that, and it's a gateway to Socialism proper, which we both know just plain doesn't work.
