The Mexican states claimed by Dixie are because a ton of Mexicans in current Dixie are from the southwestern part of Mexico, and because that would combine the two bible belts (the one in northern Dixie and the Catholic belt in SW Mexico)

I considered splicing Yucatán and Mexico proper but I heard that the Yucatán independence movements were nonexistant now. I'll look into it further.
Agreed that Dixie would annex Cuba, and I'll think about where Puerto Rico would end up. I figure if Cuba gets annexed PR would probably stay with Dixie though, no? I'll look into it further either way.
