I would stay up very late to watch it, or alternatively, I would rise very early to watch the second broadcast. In fact, my earliest memory of staying up extremely late, so as to become 4:00-4:30 AM in the morning, involved watching episode 48 in the year 2004, my first episode of InuYasha. I then watched the movies when they aired them, as well. Most Adult Swim anime of the 2000s makes me feel rather nostalgic for my times of the early and middle 2000s watching many of them, particularly. Another series I heavily got into around the same time was Lupin the Third, which has a vast amount of episodes across several different series, including well over twenty movies and TV specials. It's too bad Adult Swim only ever aired around twenty episodes of the second series (1977-1980), despite owning the rights to many more episodes. Lupin is a very entertaining adventure-mystery and comedy series, along similar lines to old spy films, especially James Bond.
