The system here gives you a fuckton of help and resources - literally; education is free, healthcare is free, you're being provided for if you're unable to, with rent, water, heating, clothes paid, and cash into your hands on a monthly basis.
But all that comes at a cost - a mount Everest in bureaucracy! That really moves slow, and in VERY. SPECIFIC. WAYS. - if you don't follow those ways, you're fucking yourself over - literally. If you do follow those ways, hell even lawyers are paid for you, if you're in need of assistance. worse even - a creditor can't sue you, as you've a form of financial protection (on the other side, nobody's giving you credit though)
so, as you can glimpse, that it's a TAD complex, and if 2nd or 3rd world nation residents come here, awed about the possibilities and features, but not *understanding* the procedures that are needed to get there - they go bonkers and rape and pillage - sometimes.
