Just passed the first semester of my french module (optional) and super pleased. I'm seriously lacking though and basically scraped by. What's the best and easiest way of learning a language nowadays? I'm using Duolingo at the moment, I was thinking of combining that with babel fish, as well as the odd french film to try and hear casual french spoken easier. My goal is to be able to speak French by the end of the year, one/two hours a day!

Please don't say textbooks.
