Everywhere you look, there is evidence that Disney has really stepped in a giant pile of steaming, greasy shit, here. The numbers aren't looking good and everyone except the studios, writers, producers, and executives seems to know why.

Any sane person would only need look at the rotten tomatoes score to realize something is beyond truly fucked and disjointed.

I was naively hoping that we'd see Rian Johnson and Kathleen Kennedy drawn and quartered for what they did, but it seems like they will remain unscathed by the execs for their heresy. To add insult to injury, it seems they would rather scorch the franchise and scold their audience instead regrouping and figuring out what could have been done better. Nope, only self-righteous indignation and faggotry.

On top of being naive, I was hoping that they would get their collective shits together and return to what made the Star Wars universe great in the first place, assuming that Disney's love of money would transcend the desire to push "muh diversity" and "fuck whitey". However, it seems that it's nothing but doubling down on stupid, lame excuses, deflections, and nihilist, post-modernist bullshit as far as the eye can see.
