Keep in mind that the only thing separating that particular organization and a religion like christianity, judaism etc is that it's a secular humanist organization as opposed to a religious humanist organization.
All charities and so on are humanist organizations. Most democratic governments are humanist organizations (at least in alleged ideals).
That's what humanism means. The belief that humans are responsible for themselves.
