been a hermit since mid 2013 after my mother died I leave the house once a day to check the mail I have everything i need delivered to me my sister helps with everything the can't be delivered i see my other siblings 2 times a year i know they pitty me but i'm not hurting anybody but myself so they don't care I want to connect with others but i feel all i'd do is be in the way

Being someone who has almost nothing to do with the other people in my community, I don't typically make an effort to reach out and try to make friends. For me, it takes a lot of effort, but I remember how good it felt when talking to someone.

'Loneliness' is when you don't have someone who shares your interests and doesn't care about you. Its a combination of both that you need.

I just started my first real job a few months ago and it's already taking a toll on my mind.

i live in nsw so i dunno about the south but if u have a sport u like or liked when u were younger u can join a local club or a uni club even if ur not a student they have some open to the general public or volunteer for some animal organisation like i did, i got to be around baby animals and learnt how to talk on a phone better since i had to make calls all the time (u can also walk dogs)

i don't know if u want actual advice but i wish u the best whatever u decide to do
