Future trunks and gt/z/buu saga trunks are not the same person down to genetic level because seeing trunks AND goku going super saiyan made vegeta spend the time thinking how to surpass both of them instead just surpassing just goku while fucking bulma like in the original timeline.
By the time baby trunks was conceived, 50% of the cool genes passed down by vegeta had already died with the sperm that had them, losing future trunks forever and instead he passed down his autistic 50% + bulma's bratty genes making the faggot nu-male that is GT trunks
