>>3838037At first sight, I like it. Winter, the snow, the cold, bare trees gave me a comfy feeling and smooth chills. I think you took that picture during the morning, no ? It feels like it, althought it could be during the middle of the day.
I see three pathes. One on the left is a dark and confusing road with all these trees blocking the way with their branches, representating, for me, struggle and pain. The perspective leads us toward a black dot, maybe a dead-end, death or void. I feel like its more the abyss that everyone wears within their soul, the very burden of Man.
The right path is more colorful, the green of these trees (pine trees ?) is very emphasized by the darker, more bland tone of the left path. I can see the sky and the only warm colour of that pic with the rise or fall of the sun. This part of your pic represents for me promise of something better, the utopia that while the left path represents the dark side of Man the right side shows that one can transcend its own nature to become something great. The absence of trees in the forefront (bottom right) confirms the idea that it's a promise. As if the trees were allowing us to see something otherwordly, giving us the hope that redemption or salvation can be possible. In that same place (bottom right), the perspective show us that this place seems to be lower than the place we stand on as if we were on the top of a hill, while this paradise is down. Now that contradicts the idea that the right side of the photo shows us a more beautiful place since the collective inconscious see the paradise as a higher place. Maybe this means that we missed it along our rise.
