While most of us hated Pepe because he was an aging meme that refused to die and instead hogged up OC (people would only make new "rare pepes xD"), these newfags thought it was because he was a frog or some other dumb reasoning. Since they were all redditors and had no creativity due to years of stealing content from elsewhere, they just drew a pepe-esque face, colored it purple and called it "fresh new content"
