It's when you literally can't sleep at all no matter how hard you try and sleeping pills make it worse. If the doctors put you in a coma your brain is still active. It keeps on being active until you just die of sleep deprivation. In a country where euthanasia is illegal this scares the shit outta me.

What's the theory about the massive amounts of drugs being released at the final moments of life? Can't remember the name of the chemicals but it's know very well for it's amazing ability to alter our perception of time so that time slows to a crawl. To alter it so that our final moment is not a simple moment to us but that of eons.

It's a fun thought that all this time the God we've been chasing all along has been nothing more than a final high to take us on the journey of not just a life time but countless lifetimes.
