A while ago I whined about how often I played video games, how I had no drive to do anything else, yata yata yata. A canadabro replied with something I had never thought of before; "if you spend so much time playing video games anyways why don't you at least be productive with your time and start making mods?". It sounds cheesy, but that's probably the best advice I've ever gotten in my life. I got up early the next day and (after having a heart healthy breakfast of a 2L of cock and 7 pounds of hash browns) started learning all I could about modding. I got really really into it and became something I actually looked forward to doing as opposed to mindlessly grinding away every day. I started getting better and better at modding and began releasing a few minor mods which all got great reviews (which only encouraged me more). My newfound drive eventually expanded beyond modding, I began taking care of myself better and eating right. I was never obese or even fat, I just ate like shit but I turned that around. I started sitting behind my computer a lot less and got out a lot more, found myself a gf too. That was about half a year ago, I'm now doing what I love and was given a job working as a programmer for a friend's company after I audited a few classes and proved my capability. My gf moved in and we're expecting a baby, which was an absolute accident but I don't believe in abortion, in 7 or so months. Basically, my life did a 180 and I have to thank Canadabro, wherever you are, for helping me start. Thank you.
