Is touhou only popular because it was the first big weeb pc game series?
I mean, the gameplay is pretty disappointing and the art is awful too, so it must be that, right?

It's the soundtrack actually. I hate most of the songs, they are simply boring, but people keep talking as if Zun's some sort of master musician.
