They fired at it, small arms did little but the anti tank weapon literally carved a hole straight through it's torso and out the other end. This appearantly wasn't a lethal shot and after which, the crew reloading it got killed.
It was never said that it regenerated the lost tissue either

No, just fucking around. Of course there is grass and shit in Russia, during summer at least. Concerning 610, it's the "flesh" that hates, so it's supposed to affect only "meaty" things as far as I umderstand.
