ive been thinking for weeks on who was truly in the wrong in this scene
at first, i thought it was the Boss because he is obviously stubborn and playing up the bad boy brute archetype in the scene, whereas Leatherman is using the locker room appropriately instead of sitting in there guarding it for no reason
I've recently had a revelation that started with footage i watched of police brutality and fighting, mainly on liveleak and worldstarhiphop. after seeing those videos i did a lot of thinking and realized the following:
the Boss has every right to defend his established territory in the locker room as he is obviously a seasoned member of the gym. Leatherman is an intruder into the Boss's established space, making the Boss uncomfortable and hostile which is not helped by Leatherman's piercing gaze as he enteres the locker room and refusal to comply with the Boss's orders
thoughts?
