1) Everything Jesus said was 100% truth
2) Half of what other people say about Jesus is a lie
How the fuck are we supposed to know the difference? My position is that Jesus teachings are true and a beautiful example to mankind. I will try to live up to them - BUT I don't know if I can trust that the miracles weren't made up by other people.
So what do I do? Well I guess I'll try to live up to his example and teachings, but throw out the religion bits. If I'm wrong about that, it's not my fault - and at least I become a better person.
So follow Jesus without religion. This I believe is the 'narrow path' he spoke of.
